How to get to Akureyri in North Iceland:
There are about 10 flights per day from Reykjavik (only 45 minutes) and the airport is only 5 minutes drive from the town center. The drive from Reykjavik takes around 4-5 hours on paved roads all the way. It´s also possible to take a public bus.
