Testimonials

From Richard

Hi there,

I wanted to say a big thanks for such a good trip.

This week we did 'Blue Ice' glacier trip on Monday and the 'Black and Blue' snorkel/cave trip on Tuesday.

The guides were excellent. Super friendly Raggi was really informative about the geology of the glacier and the beautiful Tiina was very helpful and went the extra mile to ensure everyone enjoyed themselves...!

Please pass on my thanks to all and I shall definately book more trips next time I get the chance to go back to Iceland!

All the best
Richard

Golden Glacier Ride - Snow Mobile Day Tour from Reykjavík

Sightseeing and snowmobile combination day trip from Reykjavík. Includes a visit to the highlights of the Golden Circle and snowmobiling on Langjökull glacier.

Trip difficulty 2 out of 5 possible. Rated: Easy

Includes a super jeep ride and a visit to Geysir, the world famous hot springs, Gullfoss waterfall, Þingvellir National Park and a snow scooter adventure on Langjökull glacier
.

The Golden Circle tour allows visitors to get in touch with some of Iceland’s most famous and exciting natural phenomena. Our first stop is at the Þingvellir National Park 40 min due east of the city. Þingvellir is one of Iceland’s most historic sites as it was here that Iceland’s first parliament was founded in the year 930 AD. From Þingvellir we head along gravel tracks toward the world-renowned geothermal area around the Geysir hot spring. This is the one spouting hot spring that all such phenomena on Earth are named after. From there we continue on to Gullfoss (“the Golden waterfall”) where your proximity to its edge is so close you can feel the spray of the glacial water on your face. Next we kick the action into higher gear to get even closer to Iceland’s nature and go for a snowmobiling tour on Langjökull, Iceland’s second largest glacier.

We reserve the right to alter the itinerary according to weather and road conditions.

Details:
Price: 33.500 ISK per person. Add 3.000 ISK per person to have a solo snow scooter.

Pick up time: 8:30-9:00 AM.

Note:
If the whole trip gets canceled due to weather there is a full refund, but if the tour is done (Golden Circle super jeep tour) and only the snowmobiling is canceled due to weather the refund is 6.500ISK. If the snowmobiling is canceled we can sometimes offer an extra super jeep adventure or an hour of quad biking at the same price, then there is no refund for canceling the snowmobiling. This is mainly a concern during high winter and autumn when there is a lot of storms and heavy snow.
