We start the day at sea with an unforgettable trip into the world of whales and sea birds. Conveniently located in Reykjavik’s old harbor, a short journey with our boats will bring you up close to whales in their natural habitat. The various types of whales commonly sighted include minke whales, white-beaked dolphins, harbor porpoises and the popular humpback whales. The majestic fin- and sei whales along with the killer whales (orcas) are occasional sighted. We will be accompanied by sea birds such as gannets, guillemots, cormorants, kittiwakes, arctic terns, and many more. The trip also takes us past several islands inhabited by colonies of puffin – a great photo opportunity!
Afterwards we will head out to Drumbo where we go for an adventure on the Hvítá river. The The Hvítá river has a perfectly balanced mix of serene canyons and adrenaline pumping waves and rapids. We raft for 7 kilometers and at one point participants get to jump from a cliff into the river. For those looking for extra action the option of white water canoeing is available. Hot tubs and sauna after the rafting is included.
You will be served a Volcanic BBQ at our Drumbó rafting base camp, before we take you back to Reykjavík.
Guaranteed departures: Everyday at 9:00 AM from the Reykjavík harbour for minimum 2 persons, from the 15t of May to the 15th of September.
Note: In the shoulder seasons (15th of April - 14th of May and 16th of September - 1st of October) the Whales & White Water is available for minimum 4 persons, at 9:00 from Reykjavík harbour. If you are only two persons, contact us to join another group.

Price: 20.990 ISK per person.
Including: transfer from Reykjavík and back, river rafting on Hvítá river,packed lunch, BBQ and whale watching.
To add pick-up from your accommodation in Reykjavík for the Whale Watching add 1.000 ISK per person. Then the pick-up is at 8:15-8:45.

Exchange rafting for canoeing add 2.000 ISK.
Duration of trip: 10-11 hours.
Available: from the 15th of April to the 1st of October (depending on weather).
Minimum: 4 persons from 15th of April - 14th of May and 16th of September - 1st of October. 2 persons from 15th of May - 15th of September. Maximum: 150 persons.
Age limit: 12 years for rafting the whole river and 10 years for half of the river.
Bring with you: Warm outdoor clothing, waterproof jacket and pants, towel, bathing suit, warm sweater and a change of clothing.
No knowledge of the sport required.
