The Mountain Cruiser is our two-hour afternoon ATV adventure from Reykjavík. The tour starts with a pick up from your hotel or guesthouse (but you can also meet us on location if you prefer). Our base is set in Lambhagi in the outskirts of Mosfellsbær town, only a 15 min drive from downtown Reykjavík. We will start by gearing up in warm thermal layers and waterproof clothing before our expert ATV guides show you how to safely handle our powerful (650 cc engine size) Super-ATV´s. We will start the ride on a gravel road along beautiful lake Hafravatn before heading up a mountain trail to the top of Hafrafell. Once you stand there, you get to enjoy the great view over the whole Reykjavík area and the surrounding mountain range. Next we will head safely over to the top of Mt Úlfarsfell where the view over Reykjavik, the bay area and Reykjanes Peninsula is even more stunning. On a clear day you will even be able to see Snæfellsjökull glacier, hundreds of kilometers away. This is our most adventurous quad bike journey, tons of action and scenic views.

Basic outdoor clothing is provided
on location but we recommend that you bring your own warm outdoor

What is the age limit for the ATVs?
8 years as a passenger on the ATV.
Please note: A valid driving license is required to drive the ATV.
What clothing is provided?
We provide a fleece jacket, gloves, headwear, helmet and waterproof jacket and pants!
What do I need to bring?
We recommend that you bring sunglasses, warm outdoor clothing and waterproof jacket and pants (but we also have some waterproof clothing to lend)
Where do I meet you for the trip if I don’t want pick up from Reykjavík?
The ATVs are located at Lambhagi in Mosfellsbær town. The base is located just close by to rout nr 1 when heading North from Reykjavík. When reaching the town of Mosfellsbær you will see Bauhaus store, take a righ turn from the roundabout, immediately after another roundabout is followed, again take a right turn to Lambhagavegur road. Shortly after comes a turn to right on Úlfarsfellsvegur road in which end our ATV base is located. The drive is around 15 minutes from Reykjavík; you follow the signs to Mosfellsbær.
