The Mountain Cruiser is our two-hour afternoon ATV adventure from Reykjavík. The tour starts with a pick up from your hotel or guesthouse (but you can also meet us on location if you prefer). Our base is set in the mountainous Hellisheiði lava plateau, just 25 minutes outside the city. We will start by gearing up in warm thermal layers and waterproof clothing before our expert ATV guides show you how to safely handle our powerful (700 cc engine size) Super-ATV´s. From the base we follow gravel roads to the North and to the river system that comes from Mt. Hengill. We will drive the rough tracks along the river, crossing it many times and on occasion actually drive in the river. This is our most adventurous quad bike journey, tons of action and scenic views.
Guaranteed departures for minimum 2 persons: Everyday all year round with pick up from your accommodation* in Reykjavík at 13:00-13:30. If you have your own car you can meet us at Litla Kaffistofan roadside café at 14:00. *
If you are staying at one of the many hotels and guesthouses in the city center then your pick up for your tour will be at 13:00 from the Arctic Adventures main office at Laugavegur 11. The shop is located in the heart of the old city center. Click here to see a map of our location.

Price: 15.490 ISK per person without pick-up. 17.990 ISK per person with pick-up.
Add 5.000 ISK for a solo ATV.

Available: Everyday all year round (depending on weather).
Guaranteed departures: Everyday 13:00-13:30. If you have your own transport and want to meet us, then the meeting time is 13:30-14:00 at Litla Kaffistofan roadside café.
Minimum 2 persons. Maximum 60 persons.
Duration of trip: 4 hours. 2 hours quad biking.
Included: 2 hours quad biking with two persons sharing a bike and gear.
Bring with you: Warm outdoor clothing, waterproof jacket and pants (we also have some gear to lend on location). Good hiking shoes are recommended.
Age limit: 10 years as a passenger on the ATV.
Distance from Reykjavik: 45 km/ 28 miles
No knowledge of the sport is required!
