White water canoeing is the perfect activity if you are looking for a challenging adventure out in the Icelandic nature. Our canoes are inflated and selfbailing, meaning that they do not fill with water and are easy to maneuver in the rapids. Two people sit together in the canoe and steer it, meanwhile a guide in a kayak or raft makes sure everything is safe and sound. We paddle down the Hvítá river which has a perfectly balanced mix of serene canyons and adrenaline pumping waves and rapids. We travel for 7 kilometers and at one point participants get to jump from a cliff into the river. We only recommend this trip to those looking for action and are in good physical condition.

The RiverRide is a great action trip, specially for those with some experience in rafting.

Guaranteed departures: Everyday at 12:00 - 12:30 from Reykjavík and 14:00 from Drumbó basecamp. Also on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 8:30-9:30 from Reykjavik and 10:00 from Drumbó. Available from the 15th of May to the 11th of September.

In the shoulder seasons (15th of April - 31st of May and 10th of September - 1st of October) the RiverRide and all its combo tours are available for minimum 4 persons. If you are only two, contact us to join another group.

Price: 9 .990 isk per person. With pick-up 12.990 isk per person.

Distance from Reykjavik: 100 km. Duration of trip: 3/7 hours. Available: May to September (depending on weather). Minimum: 4 persons. Maximum: 12 persons. Age limit: 18 years. Bring with you: a warm sweater, bathing suit, change of clothing and a towel. No knowledge of the sport required.
