Arctic Adventures is the first adventure travel company in Iceland to offer both the classic driver guided super jeep tours and self drive super jeep day trips. We always combine our super jeep tours with our most popular eco activities, such as river rafting, snorkeling, creating amazing tours for a great price.

All our drivers are experienced mountaineers, many of them members of the Icelandic rescue outfits and experts out in the wild, deserted Icelandic highlands.

On all our super jeep tours we use custom built and modified 4x4 self-drive vehicles (Land Rover Defender 110, Toyota Land Cruiser or Nissan Patrol,  with huge 38"  to 46" tires, Snorkel, VHF radio intercommunication, GPS, air compressor and more) they are especially designed for demanding Icelandic terrain. With these vehicles, participants discover glaciers, desserts, lava fields but also other main attractions in Iceland, like the highland valley of Þórsmörk and the Golden Circle. The travelers are accompanied by a leading vehicle or there is a professional Icelandic guide in the jeep ensuring safety and giving them detailed information about the country, its nature and culture.

All of our super jeep trips are available with a choice of either driver guided or self drive, and we offer everything from day trips to overnight tours to longer expeditions in summer as in winter.

We are also ready to customize any trip you want...you can mix the super jeep tours with almost any of our trips. And the jeeps are of course available for extended rentals and adventure trips at any time of the year.

To reduce the impact of our vehicles on our beautiful but sensitive Icelandic nature we teamed up with Icelandic New Energy (www.newenergy.is) and the Icelandic Carbon Fund Kolvidur (www.kolvidur.is). For every driven kilometer we support these companies with their ongoing projects here in Iceland.
