Where are you located and
when are you open?
Our office
is at Laugavegur 11, the main shopping street in Reykjavík. There you can get
all the information that you need, be it about the trips that you want to go to
or just general information about Reykjavík. You can also book and pay for
various day trips. Over the summer season (June-August) we are open from
08:00-20:30 Monday-Saturday and 10:00-18:00 on Sundays. All other times of year
we are open 10:00-18:00 Mondays-Fridays, 11:00-16:00 Saturdays and closed on
Sundays.
How do I book and what information do you need from me?
There are a few different ways you can book
our trips. You can call us directly at our office, the phone number is 00354
562 7000. Another way is to send us an e-mail with an enquiry, our e-mail
address is info@adventures.is . Lastly
you can use our booking website, click here to access the
website. What we need to have is your name, how many people are in your party,
where you are staying and some way of contacting you either an e-mail or a
phone number. How you would like to pay for the trip is also good to have...
How do I pay?
There are
three ways in which you can pay for the trips that you book with us.
1. You can pay through the internet, on our website in a secure online payment forum, you will find a booking window on the left on each trip-page. If you choose this way then you
will receive a voucher via e-mail which you will need to bring along on
your
trips. If you are going on a multi day trip then you will receive one
voucher
for all of the trips via e-mail and we will make you separate vouchers
for each
of your trips, which will be waiting your arrival in Iceland at our
office at
Laugavegur 11.
Please Note: If there is no booking window on the left of trip page or you are having difficulty booking the trip online then please email or call us and we will find a solution if possible.
2. You can call us and tell us your credit card number and in that way pay via phone, the phone number is +354 562 7000. If you choose to
pay through phone then your vouchers will be waiting for you when you come to
Iceland, either at our office at Laugavegur 11 or at your hotel.
3. You can pay at our office at Laugavegur 11, when you have
arrived in Iceland, this option is only available in special cases and please keep in mind you are not confirmed for your tour until you have booked and paid for it.

What are guaranteed departures?
Guaranteed departure means that we run
specific trips for a minimum of 2 people on specific days of the week during
the summer months (May-September). To see which trips are guaranteed for which
days of the week click here.
How do vouchers work?
Your voucher is a confirmation of the fact
that you have paid for the trip, so basically your ticket for the trip, like a flight ticket! It is very very important to always
bring your voucher with you for every trip you go on!!!
How do we get to Drumbó base camp?
If you are going from Reykjavík then you
follow the signs for Selfoss on road 1 and then before you get into Selfoss
(around 35 minutes from Reyjkavík) there is a sign for road 35 marked Gullfoss
and Geysir, you drive on this road for around 30-40 minutes. When you have
driven through Reykholt you are almost there, only around 5 minutes and you
will come to a sign marked Arctic Rafting but unless you are on a big car,
don‘t turn there, keep on going for a few more minutes and you will come to
another sign marked Arctic Rafting, TURN THERE ;) Click here for a
map of the way...
What currency do you accept?
We don‘t accept any currency except for
Icelandic kronur. Here is a website where
you can check out the current echange rate.
