The Heritage Tour
Horse riding in South Iceland

This tour goes through meadows and lava fields. On our way we pass several farms which give us an idea of how the agriculture, and particularly the horse breeding, have developed in the last decades. On the way we have a good opportunity to experience the gait tölt on the many good tölt paths. At the end of the tour you are invited to our old farmhouse for coffee and an Icelandic specialty or something homebaked.

Price: 6.700 isk per person, includes pick-up. Hotel pick-up in Reykjavik available every day between 8.20-8.45. Return to Reykjavík ca. 13:00. Distance from Reykjavik: 45 km. Duration of trip: 4-5 hours. Available: All year (depending on weather). Minimum: 2 persons. Maximum: 50 persons.  Bring with you: Warm outdoor clothing, waterproof jacket and pants.  No knowledge of the sport required.
