The Golden Circle is the most popular excursion in Iceland, and for a good reason.

The tour starts in Reykjavík City and the first visit on the tour is the cradle of Icelandic civilization, the Þingvellir National Park. There the Vikings founded the now longest running parliament in the world. The National Park is also the meeting place of the two tectonic plates on which America and Europe rest upon. This rift is clearly visible in the big fissures that scar the landscape around the lake and lava fields surrounding it. From Þingvellir the trip continues to original Geysir, the world famous spouting hot spring, which gave all others its name. The grand finale of the tour is the Gullfoss waterfall, the Golden Falls, which thunders down 32 meters into the Hvítá River Gorge. 

The Golden Circle trip is fantastic on its own but it´s easy to make it even better by spicing it up with some our activities and we actually only operated this excursion with river rafting, lava caving, snow mobiling or snorlkeling included in one great day trip.
