We at Arctic Adventures currently operate mountain biking day tours from two locations, Reykjavik City and Skaftafell in Vatnajökull National Park.

Our Reykjavik on Wheels tour is a relatively easy ride through the city, Heiðmörk on Wheels is a little bit more demanding but still easy tour on the graval tracks in Heiðmörk next to Reykjavík while the 1000 Rivers Road trip is more demanding off road mountain biking tour operated from Reykjavik on a great trail through the geothermal hot spring area on Mt. Hellisheiði just 30-40 minutes from Reykjavik.

The Skaftafell on Wheels day trip gives you a unique opportunity to explore the Skaftafell National Park. Not as easy as our Reykjavik on Wheels tour simply because in Skaftafell we ride on gravel tracks.

On all of the tours we provide helmets and mountain bikes. Weather you feel like heading out in the Icelandic nature for a challenging mountain bike ride or just going for a rather easy bike tour to explore Reykjavík city we are be able to help.

We are a small company and so are our groups. That's the way we like it; smaller groups, bigger adventure. It's more personal and therefore more fun for our guides and our clients. Having said that we also design multi day bike tours for groups, both with or with out an escort vehicle.
