This is our incredible action packed adrenaline adventure on  The Austari-Jökulsá Glacier River in North Iceland. This is combo package we offer includes our Beast of the East rafting trip (see details here), one nights stay in a guesthouse in Varmahlíð, BBQ after the rafting trip and transfer from/to Reykjavik. You will leave Reykjavik in the afternoon, start the rafting trip the following morning and return the same evening.

Please note that the Beast of the East is no ordinary trip, intense rafting trip not for the faint of heart. Age limit is 18 years old and for a good reason.  A guaranteed adrenaline booster  and we promise you tons of fun, guaranteed bragging rights and memories that will last a lifetime!

From Reykjavík at 17:00:
Price with pick-up from BSI bus terminal in Reykjavík and one nights stay in a guesthouse in Varmahlíð, BBQ dinner after the rafting trip and transfer back to Reykjavík 44.990 ISK.
From Reykjavík City: 17:00PM* from BSI bus terminal in Reykjavik.

From Akureyri Town: Everyday at 8:30 AM from SBA bus terminal in Akureyri.

* On all trips that start in Reykjavík you will have to stay one night in Varmahlíð or the surrounding farmhouses (see the "Full On" package tour here below); your river trip will start at 9:00, 10:00  or 11:00 AM (depending on which day of the week) on the following morning and the bus trip back to Reykjavík leaves at 18:20 or onwards to Akureyri at 21:50.

Distance from Reykjavik: 294 km, 3,5 hour drive or 4,5 hours by bus. Duration of trip: 5-6 hours (3-4 hours on the river). Minimum: 4 persons. Age limit: 18 years.
