River Rafting Tours in Iceland
Arctic Adventures is the original river rafting company in Iceland, we
started our day tour rafting operation on the Hvítá River in South
Iceland in 1983 and have never looked back! Our famous

have long since achieved a special status in the hearts of Icelanders
and of course many visiting travellers. We have taken more then 150.000
people down the river in our more then 25 years of operation, many have
gone more then twice, some much more then that : )
Combination Tours
Rafting in North Iceland
In North Iceland we also operate a basecamp in the Skagafjörður
fjord, about 3.5 hrs from Reykjavík. There we raft one of Europe´s top
ten rafting rivers,
the mighty East Glacier River (Jökulsá Austari) and
also the beautiful but tamer
West Glacier River (Jökulsá Vestari). In
addition to all these river we also raft the powerful
Hólmsá River
close to Vík í Mýrdal.
