This tour will take you off the beaten path to experience Iceland´s natural gems in the comfort of our 4x4 super jeep. Drumbo river rafting basecamp is our first stop and from there we will go on a great rafting trip on Hvítá river. It is a beautiful river running through an amazing canyon, with fun rapids and a great optional cliff jump. Afterwards the showers and sauna are at hand and we will have lunch before entering the road again.
From Drumbó we go to visit the famous Geysir geothermal area. There we will eye witness the spouting hotspring in all its power. After seeing Geysir up close we continue onwards for a short drive to Gullfoss, Iceland´s best known waterfall, which cascades down 32 meters into the mighty glacial river Hvítá we were river rafting on earlier.
Next, we take the trail behind the picturesque shield volcano Skjaldbreid, and after about a two hours drive on tough trails and some river crossings we get back to normal roads again. Our next stop is the beautiful and historic Þingvellir area where the worlds first parliament “Alþingi” was established in 930 AD. It is the only UNESCO‘s cultural world-heritage site in Iceland. Þingvellir is also famous for it´s beautiful nature and unique geology. You can eyewitness the location where the North American and European continental plates are drifting apart.

Age limit: 12 years for rafting the whole river and 10 years for half of the river.
