Included: All transfers with pick-up from Reykjavík, packed lunch (note: no lunch included on Sunday) and entrance fee to the Blue Lagoon.
Not included: Flights, dinner and accommodation (book accommodation in Reykjavík and Skaftafell).

Bring with you: Warm outdoor clothing, waterproof jacket and pants, headwear, gloves, bathing suit and a towel. Good hiking shoes are recommended.

Detailed itinerary: Day 1 Tuesday –
Book accommodation in Reykjavík On our first day we experience the great Landmannalaugar interior destination with a pro at the wheel of your Super Jeep as you explore Iceland’s unique highland paradise for geology enthusiasts and visiting hikers - and don’t forget to bring along your bathing suit and towel for a dip in one of Iceland’s natural geothermal spots. We will also explore the rhyolite Mountains surrounding the hot springs and our returning drive will pass through the volcanic area of the Hekla mountain and the Fjallabak area.
Day 2 Wednesday– B
ook accommodation in Reykjavík On Wednesday we start with a hike to the amazing hot spring area of Reykjadalur valley where we take a relaxing bath in a hot river… a fairly easy but rewarding trek in to mountains riddled with hot springs. Heading to Eldhestar horse farm for lunch, followed by a horse riding trip around the farm. A great chance to experience the unique Icelandic horse and its abilities.
Day 3 Thursday –
Book accommodation in Reykjavík On Thursday we explore the hidden world of the lava field between Þingvellir and Laugarvatn. Walking into the cave, discovering the marvels that the volcanic activity has created. The second adventure of the day is a surreal and breathtaking snorkeling visit to the Silfra ravine in the heart of the park. The Silfra is located on the boundary between America and Europe and offers crystal clear underwater views of the lava fissure. Silfra is one of the top ten dive sites in the world and it’s even better for snorkeling.
Day 4 Friday –
Book accommodation in or around Skaftafell We start with an early morning transfer from Reykjavík to Vatnajökull National Park. You will visit the most breathtaking and inspiring nature that Vatnajökull has to offer. Wander along the Virkisjökull glacier river and then on to the glacier tongue itself, where you will find yourself surrounded by spectacular ice formations and crevasses. Then take a boat ride on the world famous Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon where you will sail among enormous icebergs with Europe’s largest glacier in the background.
Day 5 Saturday –
Book accommodation in Reykjavík We have early start with a mountain biking tour to the remote Morsárdalur glacier valley from Skaftafell in Vatnajökull National Park. We will bike through one of Iceland´s precious few natural birch wood forests, the Bæjarstaðaskógur. We will bring a packed lunch to enjoy in a beautiful canyon during the trip. Returning to Skaftafell we will hop on the famous hey cart trip to Ingólfshöfði and explore the amazing bird cliffs, packed with puffins, skuas and sternas. We have a 17:00 transfer back to Reykjavík from Skaftafell.
Day 6 Sunday –
Book accommodation in Reykjavík The trip starts with an exploration on the open North Atlantic Sea with a whale watching excursion from Reykjavik down town harbor followed by a transfer to the world famous Blue Lagoon for a relaxing dip in the milky waters.
Day 7 Monday –
Book accommodation in Reykjavík On Monday morning we head out for an amazing visit to the Golden Circle. There we will see the Geysir hot spring area, the Gullfoss waterfall and Þingvellir national park. We have lunch at Drumbo base camp before we raft the beautiful and exciting Hvítá river. Afterwards you can relax in the sauna.

Please Note: If you are NOT staying in the city center (that is to say the zip code of your hotel is not 101 and you are therefore not with in walking distance of our office) then we will pick you up from your accommodation between 9:00 and 9:30 on: Wednesday, Thursday & Monday. On Friday we will pick you up from your accommodation between 7:00-7:30 and on Tuesday we will pick you up from your accommodation between 8:00 and 8:30. On Sunday you can add 1000 ISK per person for pick up for the whale watching from your accommodation at between 08:15 - 08:45. The Blue Lagoon pick up is from your accommodation at 14:30. Other pick-ups will not change.
