1 Hour ATV/Quad Bike Tour on the Hellisheiði, just 25 min from Reykjavik

We will pick you up from your accommodation at 9:00-9:30 and drive towards the Hellisheidi plateau and the Blue Mountains area, located about 30 minutes from Reykjavík. On arrival we give you a brief security talk and show you all you need to know about how the bikes work. Once we have made sure everyone is ready we go for a full throttle ATV bike trip along the mountains and up to a mountain valley close by. Racing through the lava fields is a truly exciting adventure and a great way to explore the hills and mountains on the outskirts of Reykjavik
Quad biking makes it possible for us to visit places accessible only by the selected few who have access to off-road vehicles making this an outdoor adventure you will not easily forget. The standard trip is one hour of quad bike driving, but we can customize any trip, anywhere for any number of days in South Iceland. Our trips are suitable for everyone including, groups, individuals, families, stag and hen parties, corporate events, Christmas parties or a group of friends getting together to have a fun day out.

Available: Everyday all year round (depending on weather and snow conditions).
Guaranteed departures: Everyday 9:00-9:30. If you have your own transport and want to meet us, then the meeting time is 09:30-10:00 at Litla Kaffistofan roadside café (check map below for driving directions).
Minimum 2 persons. Maximum 60 persons.
Duration of trip: 2-3 hours. 1 hour quad biking.
Included: 1 hour quad biking with two persons sharing a bike and gear.
Bring with you: Warm outdoor clothing, waterproof jacket and pants (we also have some gear to lend on location). Good hiking shoes are recommended (note: hiking shoes, waterproof jacket and pants can be rented if you let us know in advance).
Age limit: 10 years as a passenger on the ATV.
Distance from Reykjavik: 45 km.
No knowledge of the sport is required!
