Just wanted to pass along the positive reviews from both trips, I enjoyed them both very much.  Everything went well, and you´re guides were superb.

Thanks again,

Winter South Coast Self Drive Super Jeep Day Tour with a Glacier Hike

Combo Trip: Self Drive Super Jeep Safari, Sightseeing the South Shore´s Most Treasured Natural Sights - Sólheimasandur Lava Beach, Seljalandsfoss & Skógafoss Waterfalls & Glacier Hiking on Sólheimajökull Glacier.

Trip difficulty 2 out of 5 possible. Rated: Easy

Includes a self-drive super-jeep ride and a visit to Skógafoss, Seljalandsfoss, the south shore black sand beaches and glacial hiking on Sólheimajökull.

Do not leave Iceland without experiencing a real glacier! This amazing trip will not only show you the rugged, ever moving and ever changing beauty of Sólheimajökull but also Iceland´s amazing black sand beaches and dunes. We will pick you up in a monster Super-Jeep and show you how best to drive this highly specialized mountain and glacier vehicle on and off the road…just imagine driving such a machine! Cruising along Iceland’s south coast we will stop at Skógafoss and the Seljalandsfoss waterfall and take a short walk behind the 60-meter high wall of water!

Continuing onwards we will drive up to the glacier where we will gear up for our glacier exploration. During the glacial hike on the ancient ice you will witness incredible ice and water formations first hand under professional guidance. After the hike we will have a packed lunch before driving down to and onto the beautiful black sand beaches, racing along the waters edge where the relentless North Atlantic waves crash on to Iceland’s coast.

*Where, when and how much we will be able to go off-road depends entirely on weather and conditions, in other words it depends on the Iceland nature!

Guaranteed departures for minimum 2 persons: Everyday all year round with pick up from your accommodation.

Please note: for Christmas and New Years we have different availability for the 24th-26th of December and 31st of December - 1st of January. Please contact our office for further information or click here for our holiday schedule.
