Day one:

A short 15-minute drive from Reykjavík we will find our 650 cc CanAm Outlander Max Quad bikes waiting outside our base in outskirts of Mosfellsbaer town.. There we give you a short security talk and show you how the bikes function. From there we head out on an one hour ATV bike trip to the top of the Úlfarsfell mountain. After enjoying the spectacular view over the Reykjavik capital area and mountain Esja we will return back to the base. Driving these powerful machines is a great way to explore the hills and mountains on the outskirts of the city. After the thrilling ATV trip we will return to city for a light lunch and to prepare for the second adventure of the day. After lunch we will take a short drive out to the Blue Mountains area where we will go on our caving adventure.

Exploring this magnificent lava cave and discovering the marvels that the volcano created more then 2000 years ago is a trip that everyone will enjoy. The Leiðarendi cave is a perfect example of an Icelandic lava tube and is situated in one of the most active volcanic areas in the world. We will climb, crawl and walk on our travel beneath the surface.

Day two:

The Golden Circle tour allows visitors to get in touch with some of Iceland’s most famous and exciting natural phenomena. Our first stop is at the Þingvellir National Park 40 min due east of the city. Þingvellir is one of Iceland’s most historic sites as it was here that Iceland’s first parliament was founded in the year 930 AD. From Þingvellir we head along gravel tracks toward the world-renowned geothermal area around the Geysir hot spring. This is the one spouting hot spring that all such phenomena on Earth are named after. From there we continue on to Gullfoss (“the Golden waterfall”) where your proximity to its edge is so close you can feel the spray of the glacial water on your face. Next we kick the action into higher gear to get even closer to Iceland’s nature and go for a snowmobiling tour on Langjökull, Iceland’s second largest glacier.

Day three:

Here is your chance to visit a glacier and not just any glacier, this trip will take you to the frozen glacial tongue that is Sólheimajökull. It is a magnificent phenomenon, a rugged, raw and ever changing hub of ancient frozen water. We will explore the crevasse riddled outlet glacier with its amazing ice formations, sink holes and jagged ridges accompanied by an experienced glacier guide. Along the way we will find an ice wall on the glacier and try our hand at ice climbing. We will provide you with all the tools you need: ice axes, crampons and safety lines, making sure you are very safe as you brave the heights. As we drive back to Reykjavik we will stop at the beautiful Skógafoss waterfall.

Day four:

Sleep in and explore Reykjavik on your own, followed by a visit to the Blue Lagoon in the afternoon.

NOTE: We reserve the right to alter the itinerary according to weather and road conditions.
